How do I add a Request Service button to my website?

We have two button styles and two sizes to choose from. If you have a dark background on your website, we recommend using the white button. Highlight and copy one of the code snippets below and paste it into the pages on your website. Or you can direct your web designer to this page and they can paste the code into your site. If you need help putting the code on your web pages, send us a message.

How do I know if my appliance is under warranty?

Generally, appliance warranties are for one year from date of purchase. You may also purchase an extended warranty at the time you purchase the appliance. Refer to your original purchase receipt to see if your appliance is still in warranty.

Some credit or charge card companies, such as American Express, extend the warranty on appliances you purchase using their card. Your card agreement will have information on the length of warranty.

Do I need the manufacturer's approval before I request warranty work on my appliance?

Usually technicians are pre-approved to do appliance warranty work. There are some manufacturers who require pre-approval or the use of their own technicians. For more info, please contact your appliance manufacturer.

How do I know my service request was received through the ServiceTapp app?

You’ll receive an email confirming your service request and a member of the service technician team will call you to schedule an appointment. Be prepared to answer questions about the problem you’re having with your appliance.

Can I request service for a friend or relative's appliance?

Yes, but the friend or relative’s appliance must be entered in the ServiceTapp app – this provides the service technician with important information about the appliance.

How can I reschedule a service visit?

To reschedule a service visit, call the service provider directly.

How do I pay for my service visit?

You pay the service technician directly. When you schedule the appointment, you can ask what payment methods the technician can accept.

How much will it cost?

Service technicians have a base rate for coming to your home and diagnosing the problem. You’ll be given the technician’s rate at the time you schedule your appointment.

What if I change my mind after scheduling a service visit?

You can call the service technician and cancel the visit at least four hours before your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee by the service provider.
